This bold statement was made by Ted Thompson to some of our execs. First off. WOW. Second off, how is he going to play? Are we going to develope him for two years, then trade off 3-time MVP, 3-time Super Bowl Champion, 3-time Super Bowl MVP for another franchise? Are we going to trade Aaron Rodgers for 51% interest in the Jaguars or Vikings?
I mean, it would be absolutely awesome to have 51% interest in another team becuase we could make them trade their 1st-5th round picks to us for a 7th every year we wanted, but it's not going to happen.
I know that BJ is a good QB, was going to go to Tennessee, and would probably have been compared to Manning every 25 seconds until he was drafter in the 1st round, but seriously? How is this pick better than our 24th pick in the 1st round of the 2005 NFL Draft?
