Pre Draft Rankings In Flux... Re-Thinking Our Draft...

Just got done watching a Mike Mayock video clip... I believe it was on "Path to the Draft"?

Fletcher Cox is now his #1 rated DT, which tells me Cox will probably be gone in the top 15...

Dontari Poe's game tape has apparently dropped him in Mike Mayock's Rankings to #4.

Moving on to OLB's, Melvin Ingram is ranked #1, and Shea McClellin has shot up the board to #2, ahead of Whitney Mercilus, and Andre Branch.

While Courtney Upshaw, Nick Perry, and Vinny Curry are projected as Defensive Ends in a 4 - 3, I'm sure TT will be assessing if they can stand up as OLB's in the 3 - 4.

With the future of Safety Nick Collins still up in the air, and Packer fans eagerly awaiting word whether or not Collins will resume his career or retire due to his neck injury last year, and with the draft only 23 days away, I'm sure the Green Bay Packers are scrambling to get their "Big Board" ready with last minute up-dates/adjustments.

With the recent signings of Jeff Saturday, Daniel Muir, and Anthony Hargrove, a couple of our immediate needs have been met. We have a starting Center in Pro Bowl veteran Jeff Saturday to anchor our offensive line. Muir and Hargrove fill the immediate need of depth at the defensive end position.

The Packers have 12 draft picks coming later this month, and Ted Thompson has a penchant for trading up and down, (mostly down) the Packers should come out with enough quality players to field a contender. Improving on a 15 - 1 regular season will be hard to do, yet, when it comes time for the playoffs, I expect the Packers to be a formidable opponent.

With the #28th pick of the 2012 NFL Draft, the Green Bay Packers Select: Psych ~ TT Trades down with the Browns,

The Browns trade their 37th pick, 100th pick, and 118 pick (from the Falcons) for the 28th pick in the 1st round.

37th pick ~ Shea McClellin, OLB ~ A very solid prospect that is a fast riser. TT type of pick.

48th pick ~ Brandon Thompson, DE ~ TT trades 59th, 100th, and 197th pick with NE for their 48th pick.

90th pick ~ George Iloka, FS ~ 6' 4" 225lbs ~ TT finds excellent value when Iloka slips to #90.

118th pick ~ Kyle Wilber, OLB ~ Excellent prospect, great value, solid depth! Go TT!! : )

123rd pick ~ Cyrus Gray, RB ~ Ranked 93 overall, TT finds great value and he got Alonzo Highsmith's approval! : )

132nd (comp pick) ~ Josh Norman, CB ~ Maybe a bit over-confident, and potentially awesome...

133rd (comp pick) ~ Vick Ballard, RB ~ Value meets needs... Injuries have hampered GB's running attack...

163rd pick ~ Quinton Saulsberry, C ~ Back to Back Mississippi State Bull Dogs ~ Excellent depth.

224th pick (from Jets) ~ Akiem Hicks, DE ~ Excellent small school prospect for depth a long DL.

241st (comp pick) ~ James Hanna, TE ~ Awesome size and speed prospect with a lot of upside.

243rd (comp pick) ~ Levy Adcock, OT ~ Developmental prospect/O line depth

Chances are I didn't even get one pick right, but, it was fun anyway. Tear it up guys.

Go Pack Go!!!
