Aaron Rodgers is excited for training camp is looking forward to camp, are you? Mandatory Credit: Benny Sieu-US PRESSWIRE
UPDATE: Charlie Peprah has been released by the Green Bay Packers
Over the last few weeks a few of the higher profile camp battles have been highlighted. Now we are on the doorstep to camp breaking and so I turn to you fine Packer fans and ask....
Which camp battle are you looking forward to the most?
Many of these battles will give a big hint as to whether the Packers can get back to the Super Bowl this year. Perhaps the biggest battles to answer this question will be on the defensive side of the ball. Here there are three or four starting jobs up for grabs depending on where Charles Woodson goes and how fast Nick Perry can transition to OLB from college DE. Although many people think Marshall Newhouse is the shoo-in starter (and with good reason) his battle with Derek Sherrod is going to be important to watch as they are trying to show they are able to protect Aaron Rodgers.
Of course if you are just looking for glamour battles the drama surrounding the WR spot can't be beat.
Then again, the camp battles may not be what you are looking forward to this training camp. Maybe it is just something about the camp experience that you are looking forward to savoring over the next few weeks. Maybe it's the bikes, or the chance to see the Packers up close. Heck it could even to see the camp beard and various facial hair stylings that Rodgers can come up with (my personal favorite is when he breaks out the "friendly mutton chops").
So what are you looking forward to this training camp?
