Recently released by the Jets and suprisingly no one has picked him up yet. He's only 29. With a hole at SS and a seemingly often confused secondary last year, is there any reason we shouldnt take a look at him, especially if he doesn't demand much pay. I felt like he was always one of the better field-general type strong safeties in the league; he called the Jets defense and when he got hurt late into the last two seasons there was a noticable dropoff in their play. Also not sure he got cut for being unproductive but moreso because the of injury history the and Jets expecting Laron Laundry to be there new SS. Looks to be a better option than Charlie Peprah or Jennings.
