Happy Saturday, ladies and gentlemen. After watching his running backs struggle on Thursday, Ted Thompson decided to go ahead and get a new one. The Packers are expected to sign Cedric Benson shortly. He's a veteran who has been productive, but unspectacular during his NFL career. He also hasn't ever played with a passing game like the one in Green Bay, so I'm optimistic about him. Here's your daily dose of Green Bay Packers news and links.
It doesn't just rhyme, it calls out the officials as well.
Too bad we don't know if House is going to be playing anytime soon, because...
Hope for the best.
A good, balanced look at the signing.
I forgot about Benson's fumbling problem. And issues with the law.
Somehow I doubt Benson's signing over Grant is entirely for football reasons.
More from around SB Nation after the jump.
Teboooooooooow ... got picked off by Vontaze freaking Burfict.
"Even on one leg he's still better than Gabbert." -Basically any Jaguars fan.
This game sounds like it should be set to "Yakety Sax".
I don't know if I ever heard the words "Ryan Tannehill looks sharp" while he was in college.
Matt Cassel probably still got booed anyway.
