IR Exemption Not Approved for 2012 Season

Well, that's just great. The NFLPA apparently wanted "concessions" from the NFL Owners in order to accept the proposed rule changes, including the Injury Reserve exemption. They won't approve it, and that means that Desmond Bishop may very well be placed on IR and would therefore be out for the entire 2012 season.
