Welcome to the first thing resembling real Green Bay Packers football that you can see on your television in the 2012 NFL season! Just over a week's worth of training camp is behind us and the Packers are about to kick off their annual Family Night scrimmage, where you'll get to see actual game situations and hitting in pads. Football!
Lambeau Field is sold out for the scrimmage, which is incredible considering that lots of teams can't even sell out their third preseason game of the year. If you're not at the game -- obviously, if you're reading this post -- you can watch the game across Wisconsin on TV. In Green Bay it will air on WLUK-TV Fox 11. Around the state it can be seen on WITI-TV in MIlwaukee, WMSN-TV in Madison, WFXS-TV in Wausau, and WLAX-TV in La Crosse. The game is also streaming live on FOX 11's website for you out-of-staters.
John Kuhn and Desmond Bishop are back, but it's unknown how capable they are of hitting tonight. Per Rob Demovsky, D.J. Williams, Jon Hoese and Brad Jones are all out, along with the obvious PUP players. Marc Tyler and Ray Dominguez don't appear to be ready to go either. Charles Woodson is likely to sit out.
