I know Graham Harrell gave a good and very relieving performance against the Chiefs yesterday and it may not be ideal to keep 3 quarterbacks, but isn't this worth a try? I also wouldn't want it to shake Harrell's confidence and have the Packers seemingly backtracking on their positive reviews of him, but I do think this would be an improvement at a very important backup position. I do wonder why he was cut though.
