Well, that stunk. But, the good news is that the San Fransisco 49ers are one of the best teams in football, and that even though we played poorly for the vast majority of Sunday's game, we lost by one score and had a very good chance to tie the game in the 4th quarter. Obviously, most fans thought the Packers were the best team in the league headed into the year, but the defense doesn't look improved. We'll have a lot of not so nice things to talk about, but if we beat the Bears on Thursday, all will be forgiven. Here's your daily dose of Green Bay Packers news and links.
The pass rush was okay, but otherwise? Poor.
I'm happy some positives are pointed out here.
Let's give Vic Fangio a round of applause.
I'm a little skeptical about No. 1, especially considering that his No, 4 directly contradicts it. Most of these are good.
At least there's one guy that we KNOW will learn from his mistakes.
This is worth keeping in mind. Although, we were a bit better at tackling in those days.
This is fair, but then again, the 49ers stop elite backs in their sleep. That doesn't explain other shortcomings of the team, however.
More from around SB Nation after the jump.
All things Week 1, right here. Warning: It's large and has plenty of media, might load slow on your phone/crappy computer.
Oh well then that's why we lost, makes sense.
Russell Wilson's debut was not bad, but he looked like a rookie.
Ben Roethlisberger pick 6s cheer me up.
HE'LL NEVER BE PEYTON GARBLEWARBLE.
