Hey all, this is Fooch from Niners Nation. Our teams get to square off in the biggest game of week one, and maybe a playoff preview! Although game week may really not start until tomorrow, I thought I'd follow on arodgb's lead and get a Q&A FanPost up here. I'll FanShot it over at NN and get some of our readers over here to help answer questions.

The 49ers have been one of the more high profile teams this offseason, whether it be their addition of "names" like Randy Moss and Mario Manningham, or their pursuit of Peyton Manning ("evaluation" as Jim Harbaugh likes to put it). They're one of the favorites to make a deep run this season, but health will be an issue they'll face just like everybody else. The team is a bit thin at offensive line and outside linebacker (pending a potential OLB roster move today), and it will be interesting to see how their depth performs if called upon.

There will be plenty of questions about offenses in this game. What can the 49ers new-look offense bring to the table, and how will the Packers high octane offense fair against a strong 49ers defense. The 49ers D gives up a lot of passing yards, but they seem to shut down opponents when needed and get turnovers as needed.
