Greetings Packer fans! What a difference another year can make. If someone had predicted in the off season or during preseason that both teams at 0-3 and 1-2, including the Pats at 1-2 I would certainly ask them what the heck they've been smoking.
Last season both teams with the 2 top offenses we're lighting up the scoreboard like no other. It was quite shocking we both did not end up meeting in the NFCCG. So far this season, it's a complete 180. We both share the same pain from this past weekend. I was absolutely sick to my stomach after that horrific call on Monday night. And I rarely ever blame a loss on the refs, but in that case, it was quite clear it was an INT. We had 2 TD's overturned on Sunday whereas definitely one should have not been overturned. But on the other hand, when you blow a 24-6 lead at home, it's unacceptable. The good news? The real refs will be back to work tonight and on Sunday. Thank God!
Ok moving on to game day at Lambeau. I've noticed a huge improvement in your defense from last season, aren't you guys ranked 3rd now? If that's the case, it certainly shows. However the Saints defense? Don't get me started on that. All I can say, it's a horrific ranked defense ranked 32nd...a distant 32nd. Last years 32nd ranked defense was light years better than our 32nd ranked defense. We can't stop the run, and have no pass rush. Our other weakness is the O'line. Drew Brees has had very little protection. It makes a huge difference in your offense when your QB has been sacked and hurried multiple times. If they can't make adjustments, it will be a long day.
This Sunday you have a desperate 0-3 team vs. a very very pissed off 1-2 team. Let's have a great game this Sunday along with an injury free game. Feel free to ask any question regarding the team and the upcoming game on Sunday.
Fire away guys.
