This mock is based on what i think our team needs are. Ive got my info from cbssports.com, they give some evaluations and round projections. Im not sure if we have additional picks but if we do let me know. Please let me know what you guys think!
Round 1 pick 27: John Jenkins, NT Georgia. Ryan picket will be gone after next season, so it would be nice to get a replacement and groom him for a season. We also could use the depth next season.
Alternate pick: Barret Jones, C Alabama. If jenkins is already gone jones would provide the versatility on the o-line that the coaches love.
Round 2 pick 58: Larry Warford, OG Kentucky. Warford played guard at kentucky but scouts say he could play center at the next level. He didnt give up a sack during he senior season with all the vaunted SEC defenses.
Alternate pick: Sylvester williams, DT North Carolina
Round 3 Pick 91: Tony Jefferson, FS Oklahoma. I feel like we could upgrade at the position and cbsspots.com says he doesnt shy away from contact and makes alot of plays in the backfield. I like the sound of that.
Alternate pick: Stephan taylor, RB Stanford
Round 4 Pick 123: Kevin Reddick, ILB North Carolina. He was the second best ILB prospect going into this season but has dropped due to questions about his motor. Kevin Greene Could get him excited and ready to play.
Round 5 pick 155: Brandon Kaufma, WR Eastern Washington. Hes 6'5" and runs a 4.58 forty. Just his size alone intrigues me
Round 6 Pick 186: Joseph Fauria, TE UCLA. Finley is most likely gone and who knows if andrew quarles will recover well. The 6'7" TE could be an interesting pick
Round 7 Pick 219: Joe Vellano, DE Maryland. Good motor, racked up 94 tackles as a DE in his junior season! He moved from DT to DE his senior season.
