Hey everyone. The big game is coming and we're not in it. . . again. . . For the second year in a row, our hopes were crushed in the second round of the NFL playoffs known as the divisional round playoffs. Two years of epic hopes, two years of mild disappointment. While last year's game was a tough nut to swallow, I liked our chances against the 49ers, but ultimately think that they are a good team deserving to be in the Superbowl and definately unlike the Giants, I genuinely wish them well in the game as I do for the Ravens.
But, as I have no vested interest in the Superbowl, aside from a small bet for lunch / starbucks amongst two of my colleagues, let's turn to our team, the 2013 Green Bay Packers and what we need to take our team back to the Superbowl, and go for #5 / #14 respectively.
The poll is simple enough. What position is our greatest need to fill in the draft / free agency? I don't think we're going to go out in free Agency, but you can think that. Also, I'm assuming that the packers are going to retain the following players if only for competition in training camp next year.
Brad Jones
Tom Crabtree
Rob Francois
If one or two positions is dominant over the others, I may make a second poll so that I can see what are the secondary and tertiary needs for our teams based on the consensus.
So without any further ado...
Also, please be serious about this. I'd really like to know. It will help me focus on what players in the drafts I should be looking at and hoping we're lucky enough to get.
