On Sunday afternoon, the Packers travel east to the site of Super Bowl XLVIII and the only stadium which hosts two NFL teams. The New York Giants, recent playoff nemeses of the Packers, host a game between two NFC teams trending in very different directions.
This game was flexed back from its original time as the Sunday Night Football game to accommodate a more appealing prime-time matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Denver Broncos.
Green Bay is on the downslope, losing starting quarterbacks in their past two games and turning to Scott Tolzien as their starter this week. The Giants have won their last three games and suddenly find themselves just a game and a half back in the ugly NFC East division. The loser of this game will see their playoff hopes take a serious blow.
Here are the details on today's game.
