Vikings vs. Packers, Week 12 2013: Game Thread #2

It was neither the prettiest or most pleasing half of football, and the Packers trail the visiting Vikings 13-7. Tolzien has made several impressive plays, and while he's avoided the big turnover play that plagued him each of the last two weeks, more is needed from the third-year quarterback.

More effective was rookie running back Eddie Lacy, who supplied seemingly innumerable broken tackles in the first half. Lacy's 62 first half yards puts him at 758, most for any rookie in the NFL.

Not to be outdone, Vikings first round pick Xavier Rhodes is off to another strong start, knocking down two Tolzien passes on back-to-back plays to end a drive last in the second quarter. Not all the Vikings' first rounders have panned out thus far, but Rhodes appears to be filling in nicely for the departed Antoine Winfield.

The Packers kick off to open the second half. Stick around the comments section to share your joys, frustrations, and Thanksgiving recipes.
