I thought this was a very insightful article from Kevin Seifert on ESPN about Mason Crosby. Despite the angst amongst the fanbase over his recent struggles and the struggles he had back about 3 years ago, the Packers remain behind him and haven't really even brought in competition for him. The basic premise is that over half of his misses are from 50+ (and he has the second most attempts of 50+ in the league since he's been here) and he's kicking in the second toughest stadium...the combination is going to lead to lower numbers and maybe shows some of the rational behind the GM not making any moves.
Does this change your views on him as a kicker or on the Packers for keeping him around?
