As the second half begins between the Green Bay Packers and the St. Louis Rams, we find the Packers with a 9-0 lead. Mason Crosby is 2-for-2 on field goals, hitting from 34 and 48 yards, while his competition, Giorgio Tavecchio, is 1-of-2. Tavecchio missed from 49 in the first quarter before hitting a 38-yarder at the very end of the first half.
Aaron Rodgers and the first-team offense moved the ball well in the first quarter-plus, as Rodgers finished 10-of-12 for 134 yards over three drives (all of which resulted in field goal attempts). Jermichael Finley caught four of Rodgers' passes for 78 yards, while Eddie Lacy ran the ball eight times for 40 yards and caught one dump-off pass for 11. He also broke out a few of his usual spin moves to shed tacklers.
Keep up with the second half of the game here, and hopefully the Packers' reserves will impress as the game goes on.
