Packers only have 2 RBs available

With the concussion of rookie starting running back Eddie Lacy (questionable) and fullback John Kuhn (doubtful) with a hamstring injury, the Green Bay Packers will only have two healthy running backs for Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Interestingly, Lacy, who has not practiced all week due to the concussion he sustained last week against Washington, has not been ruled out by coach Mike McCarthy. It's likely though with backup James Starks' success, and the upcoming bye week, that Lacy will sit.

Still, McCarthy won't rule him out. McCarthy had said if Lacy did not practice on Friday, which he did not, that Lacy would not play Sunday.

Even though Lacy may be healthy enough to play, the Packers would be wise to sit him this weekend and let Starks and rookie Johnathan handle the workload.

With no fullback however, the Packers will have to use tight ends and single-back sets for their running plays.

On defense, the Packers will again be without starting safety Morgan Burnett. Burnett's nagging hamstring injury could make him unavailable until mid-October.

With Burnett sidelined, M.D. Jennings and Jerron McMillian will start Sunday. Chris Banjo will get some time as well.
