Ted Thompson has made a living trading to where there is value. TT has traded up, and he's traded down. Ted isn't one to reach for a player, and has shown patience as GM, of the Green Bay Packers. Guys have been playing the First-Pick Draft Game for months, and it has changed throughout the evolution of players rising and falling. Some people feel it is silly, and I grant you it isn't as realistic as May 8th, 9th, and 10th will be, but it is a facsimile of the real deal.
I feel it is more realistic than a few years ago, when guys had 3 first round talents as their 2nd, 3rd, and 4th round picks. At least when you play the "game," you can see where each player went and who to? As with any computer generated game, there are times when you have to wonder. "what were they thinking?"
I went into this simulated draft with the thought of trading down, and gathering picks, as TT might do, if teams were throwing picks at him. (Which they were... : ) Yes, I agree that 5 second round picks is very unlikely, but I really like our other picks as well.
Obviously, my BPA and TT's BPA will be different, but if TT were to trade down, and gather picks, it is apparent to me, that he could come away from this draft with 9 - 12 very good football players. I don't expect TT to draft even two, or three of the guys I drafted, but the players he does select, you can bet will be BPA and have value where TT selects them.
* I don't expect TT to draft 3 WR's, but I just couldn't pass on Brandon Coleman. : )

I have drafted many times, and scored higher, but I think the Packers would be lucky to have a draft this good.
Feel free to add your own drafts below, and what you think TT's strategy will be come next Thursday.
