The number 88 has been almost exclusively the domain of the tight end in Green Bay for decades, and every big name to ever wear the number in Green and Gold has played there. Those names include Jermichael Finley, Bubba Franks, Keith Jackson, and Ron Kramer, who was named first-team All-Pro for the 1962 season.
As for wide receivers, the only notable one in recent memory was Roell Preston, and he was almost exclusively a kick returner during the 1998 season, when he took a punt and two kickoffs back for scores.
As for this open thread, it's business as usual. Here are the normal rules:
1: Don't be a d-bag.
2: Absolutely NO SAYING YOU'RE THE FIRST PERSON TO POST
3: No NSFW pictures. If it's questionably not safe for work, don't post it either.
4. Please avoid discussions about religion and politics. I know it's an "Open" thread, but as we've seen, that can quickly get out of hand.
Thus, we open this, the 88th APC Open Thread, with a look back at Jermichael Finley's highlights in a Packers uniform, replete with bad music. (Note: there are some NSFW lyrics in the song, but it's the best highlight video of Finley we could find. You have been warned.)
