The Green Bay Packers and Philadelphia Eagles announced their inactive players for today's game at Lambeau Field. For the Packers, the biggest news is which players are not on that list, and are therefore inactive.
DE Josh Boyd
WR Chris Harper
OLB Andy Mulumba
CB James Nixon
QB Aaron Rodgers
T Derek Sherrod
DE C.J. Wilson
Yes, that's right - the names Clay Matthews, Nick Perry, and T.J. Lang are not on that list, meaning all will suit up and play in today's game. Matthews and Perry are both on the field together for the first time since the Detroit game in week 5, and will be sorely needed by a defense that has struggled to get pass rush from the edges with the two of them missing time. Lang's presence will also be a boost for the Packers offensive line, and with him sliding back in at right guard you can expect to see Don Barclay at right tackle instead of Marshall Newhouse.
For the Eagles, the big names on the inactive list are Michael Vick, who wasn't expected to play anyway, and starting cornerback Bradley Fletcher. The corner has a pectoral injury that left him questionable for today's game, but signs pointed to him playing, as he practiced fully on Friday. Apparently the team is not comfortable with his progress, and Brandon Boykin will likely get the start in his place.
