Hey guys, Devin's picked up a bit of a bug and isn't able to write today, so I figure I'd pump out your weekly Monday posts because I like reading the debate and seeing the poll results. Although, I've got a very good feeling that this week's MVP of the week poll isn't going to be very close at all.
Your nominees:
QB Aaron Rodgers - His fumble was a bit of a backbreaker, but Rodgers was spectacular otherwise. He finished 28-40 passing for 365 yards, 4 touchdowns and no interceptions. That was good for a QB rating of 131.8, which helped him to finish the season as the highest rated quarterback in the NFL yet again.
WR Greg Jennings - 8 catches, 120 yards, 2 touchdowns. Not bad for a guy who a lot of fans were content to let go if he wanted top receiver money. The stats don't tell the entire story; most of Jennings' yards were picked up after the catch, and required him to break a tackle or juke a man. He was at his best making quick passes into big yardage.
DL B.J. Raji - I know, it's tough to nominate the nose tackle on a day where Adrian Peterson rushed for nearly 200 yards, but it would have been much worse with a mediocre nose tackle in the game instead of Raji. He had one of his better games of the season, regularly clogging up holes and forcing Peterson to improvise. He also made two tackles for a loss.
