Green Bay heads to St. Louis to take on a shaky Rams team without their best receiver.
Happy Packers day, Packerland. Today, your Green Bay Packers travel away to take on the St. Louis Rams. It's been a solid season so far for the Rams, who I expected to finish near the bottom of the NFL standings again this season, but they're coming off a very anemic performance against the Dolphins.
Danny Amendola is out again for St. Louis, meaning their offense is going to lack a bit of punch. Sam Bradford is a good player who can keep his mistakes down, but he's lacking for targets. If the Rams are going to make things tough on the Packers today, they're going to have to do it by alternating their two starter-quality RBs and running 25+ times for over 100 yards. If they don't hit that mark, they're not going to win unless they do it with special teams and lucky turnovers.
Game date/time: Sunday, 12 p.m. CT, 1 p.m. ET
Venue: Edward Jones Dome, St. Louis, MO
TV: FOX. You get this game in: Most of WI, but not the far NW part of the state. Almost all of Illinois and Missouri, almost all of Michigan, most of Kentucky, half of Iowa, good parts of Kansas and Nebraska, and Sacramento/Chico (Aaron Rodgers country).
