On Sunday, the 4-2 Green Bay Packers will host the 3-2-1 Carolina Panthers in a battle of 2013 division winners. The Packers' offense has come alive in recent weeks, as the team has averaged nearly 36 points per game during its three-game winning streak.
Both of these teams played nailbiters in their last games. The Panthers went to overtime against the Cincinnati Bengals, and after a field goal apiece, Bengals kicker Mike Nugent missed a 36-yard field goal at the end of OT that would have given his team the win. Instead the game ended in a tie, moving the Panthers to 3-2-1.
The Packers, on the other hand, got a big late stop from their defense, a marvelous performance from Aaron Rodgers on the final drive, and a lucky bounce or two (thanks, T.J. Lang!) as they scored a touchdown with just three seconds left to defeat the Miami Dolphins. The win moved Green Bay to 4-2 on the season, keeping them even with the Detroit Lions in the division (though Detroit currently has the head-to-head tiebreaker).
Here are all the details you'll need to get ready for the early kickoff between your Packers and the Panthers.
