Good Move For Robert Ferguson

I had joked that Houston would probably love to sign WR Robert Ferguson, apparently Houston did try and sign him, but instead he ends up with Minnesota.

Gonzo at Daily Norseman is not excited about the start of the Turd Ferguson era in Minnesota. He's got a good point since Ferguson isn't any good, but this is Ferguson's best chance at staying in the NFL. I'm not expecting him to succeed in Minnesota, but he'll be playing for offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell who was the quarterback's coach under Mike Sherman and will probably have a short learning curve in the offense. Minnesota's got a mediocre group of receivers in camp and if Ferguson can make a few catches in the last preseason games, he could stick with the team and find a role as one of the top three receivers.
