With The 30th Pick Overall!

This draft is moving so much faster than last year's.. This pick is almost two hours sooner than I expected based on last year's snail pace. If Roger Goodell deserves credit for moving this thing along quicker, then congrads to him.

With the 30th pick in the 2008 NFL draft, the Green Bay Packers select to trade it to the NY Jets. Great move to slide down six spots to the 36th pick and acquire another pick as a bonus. ESPN just reported it was the Jets 4th round pick (102nd overall) to give the Packers three picks in the 4th round. The guy they want will still be there in six picks, they only have to pay him 2nd round pick money instead of 1st round money, and they have another 4th round pick for their trouble.
