There are 21 former Packer coaches and players in the Pro Football Hall of Fame and one of them is C Jim Ringo who passed away on Monday. He was a tiny 6'1" and 232 pounds which is too small for today's NFL and actually too small for the NFL in the 1950s and 1960s too, but from 1957 through 1967 (four of those seasons with Philadelphia) he was either an All-Pro or made the Pro Bowl (or both). There are a couple of versions of the story regarding why he was traded for some interesting trivia. But it is the rare player, even on a franchise with as much history and as many championships as the Packers, that makes it to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
