FB Terrelle Smith is not someone the Packers should sign so it's good that Arizona stole him away from the Packers. Veteran presence and all might be a good thing from time to time, but Smith would have been given an opportunity to start. He might be a good blocker but that is hard to determine, he doesn't run the ball, and he isn't a good receiver either. He caught 8 of the 11 passes thrown at him in 2006 and gained 21 yards, good enough for the 3rd worst receiving back in the NFL. Just scroll all the way down to the bottom.

If Cleveland gives up on somebody, then you know he must be done. The most troubling thing is that Tom Silverstein reported that the Packers actually gave him an offer.
