Although this trade doesn't directly impact the Packers, it made it a whole a lot more likely that Buffalo will draft a linebacker as Pat Kirwan predicted in his mock draft. With two starting linebackers gone from last season, Buffalo has a big need at that position. Now it looks a lot clearer that RB Marshawn Lynch will fall to pick 16 if the Packers want him.
