It has been really disappointing to see the Packers sit on the sidelines year in free agency, but usually GM Ted Thompson is doing the right thing. The Packers had been talking to free agent CB Tory James and I thought he seemed a likely Plan B signing if the Packers didn't draft someone for the secondary in the upcoming draft. However James ended up signing with New England. Since James was someone that Marvin Lewis openly admitted would not be back next season it seems unlikely that James had much to offer the Packers at this point in his career.
