It's the dog days of summer when the only news is that the Packers have signed the rookie offensive tackle that they drafted in the 4th round who no Packer fan had heard of until they drafted him last April.
The only fun they have had lately is when they signed an international player to the practice squad. I'll go out on a limb and say that LB Carl-Johan Bjork is probably the first native from Stockholm, Sweden to sign with the Packers. He really should have signed with Minnesota instead, but they signed some guy from Finland. If Minnesota had Carl-Johan Bjork, it might have perked up Garrison Keillor's interest in the team this summer. They might have even got a mention on his radio show.
