For historical perspective it is a poor stat because sacks weren't recorded prior to 1982, but DE Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila will soon have the franchise record for most sacks in team history.
He had a great game against San Diego, recording two sacks against San Diego's talented LT Marcus McNeill. He didn't record many sacks last season, but he had still been putting a lot of pressure last season on the opposing QB. His run defense fell off the cliff last season, and it is for the best that he won't be playing on every down anymore.
He's been a great pass rusher every season as a Packer, has played in every game except one since 2001, and still remains a valuable player.
