Funny Money For Walker

The Baltimore Ravens agreed to a contract with Packers backup CB Frank Walker for two years with $1.3 million guaranteed. In total he should make almost $2 million in 2008. He was best known for being the "big" free agent signing last season for one year at $1.25 million. If you didn't notice him the rest of the season, well you probably aren't alone. He didn't play much, was usually left inactive each week, and wasn't very good when he got on the field. He barely made it on last year's team and he wouldn't have been a surprising release at any point during the season. That contract won't break the Ravens, but Walker can't be any better than the average practice squad cornerback.
