The Gold and The Green

Mike Vandermaus has a column about the 2008 schedule with a point that I forgot to mention earlier this week.

The Milwaukee area Gold package season ticket holders got two good games against Dallas and Chicago. It seemed like the Gold ticket holders made out well, but the team can't stick them with the Carolina and Atlanta games for their only two games either.

What surprised me was that Vandermaus is upset about it. He did mention near the bottom of his column that sometimes the schedule sticks two dogs on the Gold schedule so maybe it's fair they get two good games for 2008. These things must balance out over the course of a few seasons, and the Green ticket holders still have the good Indianapolis and Minnesota games to ease their pain. I guess everyone, me included, just need something to write about in these quiet days of the football year.
