- DT Johnny Jolly was expected to go on trial this week, but it got delayed until technicians learn how to use their new machine. That's an excuse I hadn't heard before. This at least the second time his case has been delayed. Hopefully it doesn't occupy him during the season, but if it does, it shouldn't be a big deal. The Packers can manage to find another backup defensive lineman. Although I'm not very familiar with WR Plaxico Burress and his ongoing legal problems, Mike Florio compares Burress and Jolly.
- Hold your nose and check out The Brett Favre Page. The air is a little clearer up where QB Aaron Rodgers answers some questions about playing the Vikings.
- Last week I discussed the Bears' wide receivers and I came away unimpressed. WR Donald Driver was asked about them too and he isn't impressed either, but he does seems impressed with the rest of Chicago's team.
- Brad Biggs is a good NFL writer. Unfortunately he works for the Chicago Sun Times, so he is usually writing about the Bears. Still, his breakdown of their linebackers for next season is an interesting read.
