Sunday Morning Bloody Mary: Giants at Packers

The injury report is a little better this week for the Green Bay Packers. Rodgers is set to return after missing last week against the Patriots with a concussion. This week, Matthews was able to practice in pads for the first time since late October. But they've got one major problem spot this week. The complete injury report from Packers.com:

OUT: DE Cullen Jenkins, OL Marshall Newhouse. DOUBTFUL: LB Frank Zombo. QUESTIONABLE: LB Diyral Briggs, S Nick Collins, LB Erik Walden. PROBABLE: LT Chad Clifton, CB Pat Lee, LB Clay Matthews, DE Ryan Pickett, QB Aaron Rodgers, C Scott Wells, CB Charles Woodson.

Another week without Jenkins won't help the pass rush. Mike McCarthy doesn't expect Zombo to play after "it didn't work out very well" on Friday. With Briggs and Walden also questionable, it's possible the only outside linebacker available will be Matthews. McCarthy confirmed that LB Robert Francois has practiced at outside linebacker, but there's little depth behind him. He also believes Collins will play despite "a minor setback" on Friday. As usual, all the players listed as probable should play.

The Giants don't seem to have any major problems on their injury report, although two former Packers (CB Will Blackmon and DE Dave Tollefson) will be out. The Giants have had problems with depth on their offensive line and at wide receiver, but they appear to be as healthy at those positions as they are going to get.
