Inactives from JSOnline.com: RB Dimitri Nance, S Atari Bigby, CB Pat Lee, S Anthony Smith, LB Matt Wilhelm, OL Nick McDonald, OL Marshall Newhouse, DE Jarius Wynn.
It's the usual inactive group, with Bigby, Lee, and Smith out with injury. However, Wilhelm has never been inactive since the Packers signed him a few weeks ago, and the facemask penalty that set up the Falcons game winning field goal drive probably had something to do with it. While Nance has been inactive before, his presence here means rookie 6th round RB James Starks is active for his first NFL game. I'm not expecting much from Starks, but if the Packers want to run down some clock late in the game, he may get an extended look.
The 49ers have some starters on their inactive list due to injury. Starting LT Joe Staley has been out for a few weeks, and so has K Joe Nedney (who's being replaced by former Steeler K Jeff Reed this week). LB Parys Haralson (ankle) had started every game this season for the 49ers until this week.
