Packers Back To OTA, Jolly's Trial Might Begin, Green to the UFL(?), and Restricted Free Agents

 - The Green Bay Packers are back at practice on Tuesday, and their Wednesday practice is open to the public. We might hear some news after then.

 - DE Johnny Jolly's trial should begin on Tuesday after it had its umpteenth delay last week.

 - The UFL draft is taking place on Wednesday. Former Packers offensive coordinator Jeff Jagozinski is taking over as head coach of the new Omaha Nighthawks, they had their expansion draft back in April, and now they might select RB Ahman Green who seems unlikely to land another NFL job.

 - The Packers have to re-issue the tender offer to their unsigned restricted free agents (Jolly, CB Tramon Williams, and SS Atari Bigby) on June 1. This shouldn't be a big deal for them. The only team that may not do this is the Rams with S Oshiomogho Atogwe. Pro Football Talk has a good summary of the process:

June 1 has relevance to the process because, technically, the tenders must be re-issued on that date...

As of June 1, the re-issued tender must be the greater of the previous tender or 110 percent of the prior year's salary...

The next key date comes on June 15, when the tender can be reduced to 110 percent of the player's 2009 salary, a development that would dramatically reduce the 2010 salaries for some of the unsigned restricted free agents.
