Introducing A New Author: Kevin McCauley

Hello everyone! My name is Kevin McCauley, I'm a new writer here at Acme Packing Company, and I decided to add a picture of my personal deity above.

You may know me as the guy behind this post, a look at Dom Capers' innovative new defense and how the Green Bay Packers have sustained their high level of play on defense, despite a host of injuries. Between that post and a lot of the other things that I do, Brandon deemed me worthy of a position at this distinguished blog.

So, about me. I'm 22 years old and I've lived in Wisconsin for the vast majority of my life. I'm currently in Raleigh, North Carolina, but that's only for the winter. I still have a residence in Madison that I'll be returning to when it warms up a bit. My family moved to Milwaukee when I was 3 years old and I lived there until I was 20. Naturally, I became a big Packers fan and I do not look forward to the day where I will have to shell out lots of money for NFL Sunday Ticket. Anything for the Pack, though.

My day job involves covering a different sport, soccer. I run Cartilage Free Captain, SBNation's Tottenham Hotspur blog, along with contributing to the SBNation Soccer front page. I'll also be contributing to a new SBNation blog on Mexican soccer, debuting in about a month. Additionally, I am the managing editor at World Soccer Reader. If you want, you can follow me on twitter at @kevinmccauley. Most of my twitter page is filled up with soccer stuff, but you'll occasionally see some Packers, Badgers, and Detroit Red Wings stuff going on there.

I'll be writing around twice a week for Acme Packing Company, and you will be able to find my work on weekday evenings. I'll be posting a mix of news, opinion, and analysis articles - basically whatever catches my eye when I'm available to write. I look forward to interacting with all of you, and Go Pack.
