Two favorites (though the Colts were only a slight favorite) went down on Saturday. The last line I saw had the Eagles as 2.5 to 3 point favorites (again, not much of one). Here's to hoping the upsets continue as the Packers upset the Eagles. Maybe they aren't really underdogs if all the national writers are going with the Packers as the trendy pick.
This week is about as painless as any injury report they've had this season. They'll be without a couple players this week, but they didn't miss these same players last week. From Packers.com:
OUT: SS Atari Bigby, FB Korey Hall, LB Frank Zombo. QUESTIONABLE: DE Cullen Jenkins. PROBABLE: LT Chad Clifton, FS Nick Collins, LB Clay Matthews, DE Ryan Pickett, CB Charles Woodson.
While I was worried last week that they'd miss Zombo, LB Erik Walden replaced him and was named NFC Defensive Player of the Week. However, depth remains an issue at outside linebacker. It's sounded good for Jenkins all week, and baring a pre-game setback, he'll play on Sunday. All the players listed as probable seem to be on the injury report every week, and they all should play once again this week.
The Eagles have some injuries too. Starting LB Stewart Bradley and G Max Jean-Gilles may not play. Starters G Todd Herrmans, RT Winston Justice, CB Asante Samuel, and QB Michael Vick (depending on which story you believe from Vick) will all play, but they aren't 100%.
