When the press was in attendance Monday to watch the Green Bay Packers practice in pads, LB Clay Matthews was one of three players not practicing. The other two players (Clifton and Neal) might not play again this season, while it's assumed Matthews will play on Sunday. So the Packers aren't cautiously holding guys out for day-to-day injuries. Matthews must be playing through a significant quad injury every week.
Since he was first listed on the injury report back in week 3, here are his stats over the previous five games:

That would be an strong stretch for any linebacker, but it shows how good he is when he's not 100%. Hopefully his injury will heal soon and we'll see what he can do when he's healthy.
