The Green Bay Packers celebratory tour continues as team president Mark Murphy, FB John Kuhn, RB Ryan Grant, and CB Charles Woodson rang the closing bell on the New York Stock Exchange. I wonder how those four managed to be the ones invited? Seeing this picture reminded me of my Ryan Grant story.
While I was covering the Super Bowl, I walked around the field of Cowboys Stadium as the players celebrated, and I crossed paths with him. He was wearing street clothes, and I hadn't seen any of the injured players during the week, so I wasn't expecting him. For whatever reason, I imagined he would be a big guy, but he wasn't as big as I expected. Maybe I had been interviewing too many offensive lineman during the week.
Here's to hoping he comes back strong in 2011.
