Friday at the NFL Combine was all about measurements and interviews. The measurements are important, but I can't see the interviews mattering. WR A.J. Green and RB Mark Ingram are the best players at their positions no matter how boring and dull they are during interviews.
I'm more interested in the workouts. Saturday's workouts are for kickers, offensive line, and tight ends. Most eyes will be on the offensive line. But Nevada TE Virgil Green has already stood out, and could make himself a lot of money with a great 40 time.
GM Ted Thompson, not known for saying a lot, had the quote of the day. With no glaring needs on the Green Bay Packers, I can't disagree if he just selects the best player available. Mocking The Draft has much more from Thompson.
