Would You Be Worried About Jake Locker To The Vikings?

Via Daily Norseman is a report that the Vikings are bringing in QB Jake Locker for a private workout. Is this a sign that the Vikings have really found their QB of the future?

I had written Locker off after a disappointing 2010 season at the University of Washington. He didn't appear to be developing as a passer because he completed only 55.4% of his passes during his senior season. I thought he needed to find a spot where he could fit in behind an established quarterback and be given time to develop in the background, as QB Matt Flynn has done with the Packers.

But at the combine he proved to be very accurate on some of the toughest throws. As Rob Rang said, "Some teams will take this as evidence that he's made strides under former pro quarterback Ken O'Brien -- and is likely to continue to do so under NFL coaching."

He's no finished product, and he's unlikely to make any team better in 2011, but he has all the raw tools to become a starting NFL quarterback. Do you think he's going to make it in the NFL?
