I'm going to start writing more general NFL articles on The League at Washington Post.com, but my first one on their relaunched blog was on the Madden 12 cover vote. And it focused on Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers, who didn't like losing to Browns RB Peyton Hillis, but maybe Packer fans didn't mind:
Or have ESPN and EA Sports created a group of passionate fans to vote against their favorite player all in the name of avoiding the Madden curse? Ever since EA Sports started featuring players on the cover of the annual game, bad things have seem to have befallen whoever appears on it. Kevin Seifert of ESPN’s NFC North blog was even contacted by Packer fans who were happy to see Rodgers lose this vote.
