On Jerry Kramer, Concerts, and Comeback Player Awards

New, comments

I posted a lot over the weekend, so the best place for stories on the Green Bay Packers is below. But there were a few other posts from around Packerverse over the weekend.

Jerry’s Journey | PackerChatters. A great interview and look back at the career of Jerry Kramer. Arguably the greatest (eligible) player not in the Hall of Fame. Kramer admitted he was wrong about the transition from Favre to Rodgers. And he points out some timeless motivational lessons from Vince Lombardi.

PACKERVILLE, U.S.A.: Bart and Paul. Speaking of Packer history: a picture of Bart Starr and Paul Hornung sitting on the bench during a game.

Chesney at Lambeau: "I'm honored and thrilled to be here." It looks like his concert at Lambeau (approx. 40,000 in attendance) was a big hit, and a good time was had by all.

Packers 2010 Yearbook Awards: Player Most Likely to win Comeback Player of the Year | AllGreenBayPackers.Com. I'm not always a big fan of these types of awards, but it would be great to see one of these players recognized for their efforts next season.
