When the upcoming schedules are released, the first thing I look for is whether the Green Bay Packers have any bad stretchs with short weeks and long flights. The Packers 2011 schedule is pretty good, with only one bad stretch in mid-November. So I wouldn't be happy either if they had a road trip to London mid-season. Here's Bears LB Brian Urlacher, via Pro Football Talk:
"No, I’m not excited to go to London," Urlacher said. "I don’t understand why they do that. . . . I am not excited to go to London, I will say that."
He also disagreed that the Bears had an advantage due to having a lousy playing field, which was something I wrote about recently in regards to field condition at Lambeau. Urlacher said it's in their advantage to have a better playing surface. I'd rather the Packers play on a decent field then try and gain some advantage out of it.
