Where Will James Jones Play In 2011?

I wasn't sure how much interest the free agent market would show in Green Bay Packers WR James Jones, but one NFL executive told JS Online that "he'll be highly sought after" which does surprise me. If he does receive an offer of $2 million per season, I'd be surprised if the Packers matched it.

I didn't see any team rumored at RotoWorld, but he'd be interested in playing for the 49ers. From SB Nation Bay Area:

James Jones just won a Super Bowl with the Green Bay Packers, so it would make sense that he has a pretty high stock on the free agent mark. Matt Barrows of the Sacramento Bee reports that Jones has "mixed feelings about free agency". He'd love to come back to Green Bay but also has to think about his family. He grew up in San Jose and played his college ball at San Jose State, so coming back to the Bay Area holds some natural appeal for him.

He's never put together a solid 16 game season, injuries or inconsistency have always seemed to nag him each season, but he's shown a lot of promise at times. There's certainly some risk in giving him $2 million per season based on his track record, but he does have a legitimate upside.
