Apparently knee bruises are contagious for the Green Bay Packers. First Randall Cobb suffered one against the Cardinals, and now Greg Jennings missed practice on Wednesday after he bruised his knee on Tuesday. From the Press-Gazette:

Jennings’ status for Friday’s game against Indianapolis is uncertain, but based on the Packers’ cautious approach, he most likely won’t play.

So long as the injury isn't serious, and it doesn't sound serious, this could be a good thing in disguise. The Packers have some tough choices to make at receiver, and giving players like Chastin West and Kerry Taylor more playing time might help make the evaluation clearer.

Other receivers like Brett Swain (who's just returned this week from a hamstring injury) need to give the team a reason to keep them. Also guys like Tori Gurley and Antonio Robinson want to build off a solid performance last week, while Diondre Borel and Shaky Smithson need to put their past drops and penalties behind them.
