On The Packers Youth and Their Top Two Receivers

Here are a couple Green Bay Packers related links from the ESPN NFL blogs for Labor Day.

2011 NFL team age ranks at 53-man cuts - NFC West Blog - ESPN. While the post is NFC West specific, once again the Packers are one of the youngest team in the NFL. Under GM Ted Thompson, the Packers have been one of the youngest, if not the youngest, team in the NFL. The departures of LB Nick Barnett, LB Brandon Chillar, RT Mark Tauscher, and LB Brady Poppinga made them even younger since Chillar is the only player under 30. Their four spots have effectively been replaced by rookies.

Kickoff'11: A 'challenge' for Packers offense - NFC North Blog - ESPN. There aren't enough pass attempts to go around. I've considered this a problem when trying to decide how high to rank WR Greg Jennings for my fantasy football draft, but I don't consider this a problem for the game on the field. So long as both Jennings and TE Jermichael Finley are productive when they are the target.
